Description

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining privacy policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Support privacy impact assessments, data privacy impact assessments, and data mapping initiatives.
  • Maintain records of processing activities and data inventories.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices related to privacy.
  • Assist with vendor privacy assessments and due diligence reviews.
  • Track compliance with artificial intelligence system governance requirements and manage related review queues.
  • Review and process data subject rights requests, including access, deletion, and correction requests.
  • Support privacy incident response and breach notification processes.
  • Administer privacy management platforms and maintain privacy review service levels.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, Product, and Marketing on privacy matters.
  • Support contract reviews, customer privacy questionnaires, and related litigation.
  • Help develop and deliver privacy training, guidance materials, and awareness initiatives.
  • Maintain privacy metrics, reporting dashboards, process documentation, and knowledge base content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in privacy, compliance, legal, or a related field; experience in education, software, or information technology may be acceptable.
  • Basic understanding of privacy laws and regulations, including CCPA, FERPA, COPPA, and GDPR.
  • Experience with project management and process improvement.
  • IAPP certification such as CIPP/US, CIPM, or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with OneTrust or a similar privacy management platform.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
  • Preferred experience in a software or information technology organization.
  • Preferred familiarity with information security concepts and practices.
  • Preferred experience with artificial intelligence systems or a demonstrated desire to learn more about them.
