Description

  • Own the technical relationship with design partners and prospects to drive early customer adoption.
  • Lead technical discovery and solution design for potential customers.
  • Translate customer feedback and workflow gaps into input for Product and Engineering.
  • Partner with Sales to develop positioning, demo narratives, qualification criteria, and competitive framing.
  • Build and maintain demo environments, reference architectures, integration prototypes, and sample code.
  • Deliver technical workshops, briefings, and responses to complex architectural and security questions.
  • Handle RFP-style technical requirements and other high-stakes customer evaluations.
  • Create and refine sales playbooks and technical assets for broader Customer Solutions and Sales teams.
  • Transfer knowledge, processes, and assets to the wider organization as the product matures.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering or architecture at a developer tools, platform, or infrastructure company.
  • Track record of co-owning revenue.
  • Ability to write code and scripting to stand up integrations.
  • Solid fluency in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD.
  • Hands-on experience building with AI agents.
  • Deep understanding of how AI is reshaping the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to speak credibly about prompt optimization and agentic workflows.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to create clarity in undefined situations.
  • Exceptional demo and communication skills for technical audiences.
  • Experience juggling multiple high-stakes design partners and internal stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Team-first mindset with the ability to operate autonomously and support cross-functional alignment.
  • Preferred: Level 5 or higher on Steve Yegge’s eight levels of AI adoption.
  • Preferred: Proven experience launching a completely new product or category from scratch.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the US.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
