Description

  • Build and lead the end-to-end people strategy across the employee experience, aligned with commercial and GTM goals, including ownership of organisational design, workforce planning, and leadership capability as the company scales.
  • Own and evolve hiring frameworks, onboarding, performance management, and leadership development for a distributed, multicultural workforce.
  • Build and sustain a high-performance, inclusive culture rooted in RemotePass’s values (Act with urgency, Take ownership, Think as one team, Be relentless, Put users first).
  • Coach, challenge, and hold managers accountable to improve manager effectiveness, hiring quality, and leadership accountability; intervene decisively when standards slip.
  • Design and implement scalable people operations, policies, and processes for a global workforce spread across 26+ countries.
  • Ensure people processes and workflows are AI-powered by default, leveraging automation, tools, and workflows to increase speed, quality, and consistency.
  • Shape and steward RemotePass’s employer brand to attract, hire, and retain top talent globally.
  • Move the People function from reactive HR support to a deliberate, founder-level strategic partner driving company outcomes.
  • Lead and manage the People team (TA, people ops, coordinators) and ensure coverage for a global distributed workforce.

Requirements

  • Senior people leadership experience in a fast-growing, global SaaS or technology company.
  • At least 3 years in a Head of People (department head) role.
  • Proven track record scaling teams through rapid growth phases (experience with 100+ employees).
  • Experience operating in multi-country, distributed environments with complex compliance needs.
  • Demonstrated commercial mindset and understanding of how people systems enable execution and revenue.
  • Ability and willingness to challenge leaders, push back when needed, and uphold high standards; trusted by founders and senior leaders as a strategic thought partner.
  • Bias toward simple, scalable solutions over heavy programs or bureaucracy, with high discretion, judgment, and professionalism.
  • Experience with organisational design, workforce planning, leadership development, hiring frameworks, and performance management.
  • Comfort balancing compliance, flexibility, and employee experience in a remote-first global environment.
