Description

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on Time & Attendance matters and support Senior Specialists and Experts on complex projects and client implementations.
  • Act as case manager for employee lifecycle leave and working-hours matters (e.g., family leave, sick leave, time tracking, public holidays, working time) for internal and external employees.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation and provide guidance on basic and complex legal interpretations related to employment agreements and labor law.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (payroll, legal counsel, government bodies) to ensure compliance across employee lifecycle activities.
  • Assist Senior Specialists in managing cross-country initiatives and support HR and financial audits to ensure adherence to local employment regulations.
  • Develop, update, and maintain global internal Time & Attendance documentation based on legislative changes and serve as a reference for internal teams.
  • Proactively address internal and external inquiries on employment matters and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product development to enhance employee and customer experience.
  • Safely manage and maintain confidential employee data, ensuring documentation accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to established protocols.
  • Promote Remote’s values and contribute to the Lifecycle team’s operational excellence and goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with sensitivity and legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict-management, and negotiation skills with the ability to lead difficult conversations confidentially and professionally.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English at a business level (additional languages are a plus).
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for process innovation and optimization, including identifying and implementing automation opportunities.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, asynchronous remote environment with multiple priorities and flexible hours as needed.
  • Tech‑savvy and comfortable collaborating asynchronously using tools and adapting to new systems.
  • Familiarity with communication, documentation, and project-management tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G Suite.
  • Foundational understanding of AI and its practical applications in operations and automation (enthusiasm for AI is required).
  • Attention to documentation, data integrity, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
