Description

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on Time & Attendance matters and support Senior Specialists and Experts on complex projects and legislative changes.
  • Act as case manager for employee lifecycle leave and working-hours matters (e.g., family leave, sick leave, time tracking, public holidays, working time) for internal and external employees.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation and provide guidance on both basic and complex legal interpretations related to employment agreements and labor law.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (payroll, legal counsel, government bodies) to ensure compliance in employee lifecycle activities.
  • Support HR and financial audits and assist Senior Specialists to manage critical global initiatives impacting employees across multiple countries.
  • Develop, update, and maintain global internal Time & Attendance documentation based on legislative changes and serve as a primary reference for internal teams.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation opportunities, product development, and enhancements to customer and employee experience.
  • Safely manage and maintain confidential employee data, ensuring thorough documentation, data integrity, and adherence to established protocols while promoting Remote’s values.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with sensitivity and legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and complex legal interpretations.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills with the ability to lead difficult conversations while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English (business level); additional languages are a plus.
  • Tech-savvy and experienced working asynchronously with collaboration tools; familiar with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G Suite.
  • Demonstrated aptitude and enthusiasm for process innovation, automation, and applying AI to operations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an international, fast-paced, remote team and to manage multiple priorities with flexibility in working hours.
  • Operationally efficient with attention to documentation, data integrity, and established protocols.
  • Willingness to be located anywhere, with priority given to applicants based in Southern Europe (preferred).
