Description

  • Serve as an expert on Time & Attendance matters and support complex projects involving employment law changes and collective bargaining agreement updates.
  • Manage employee lifecycle cases related to leave, working hours, time tracking, public holidays, and family or sick leave.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation and legal interpretations within employment agreements and labor law.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies, to maintain compliance.
  • Support HR and financial audits and contribute to multi-country initiatives affecting large employee populations.
  • Develop and update global Time & Attendance documentation based on legislative changes.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries on employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and product enhancements.
  • Maintain employee data and confidential information with accuracy, discretion, and data integrity.
  • Promote Remote’s values and contribute to the goals of the Lifecycle team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations professionally and confidentially.
  • Advanced business-level written and spoken English skills.
  • Additional languages are considered a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
  • Enthusiasm for process optimization, automation, and best practices.
  • Foundational understanding of AI and its practical applications in operations and automation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
