Description

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the specified country or region.
  • Join sales calls as the Country Payroll Lead and support sales, hand-over, and client kick-off meetings.
  • Lead global payroll implementation projects from planning through execution, monitoring, parallel runs, and the first live payroll month.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and standardized payroll procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders during implementation.
  • Ensure all implementation decisions, documentation, and required standard operating procedures are recorded and handed over to Payroll Operations.
  • Provide ongoing support during and after implementation to resolve issues and challenges.
  • Support the wider implementation team and Payroll Operations team.
  • Monitor and focus on KPIs and SLAs.
  • Work with internal teams to improve the platform, complete UAT testing, and document changes.

Requirements

  • Extensive payroll experience in a client payroll environment.
  • Expert legislative knowledge in the relevant country.
  • Payroll implementation experience.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining payroll processes and issues to customers and stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of local payroll tools and software such as SAP, Excel, or Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.
  • Experience in accounting and reconciliations.
  • Fluent English written and spoken.
  • Ability to work largely asynchronously is important; remote work experience is a plus.
