Description

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring milestones, budgets, and timelines are met.
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust detailed project schedules as project conditions change.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on project goals and deliverables.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily logs.
  • Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist with cost forecasts and financial reporting.
  • Review and process subcontractor and vendor invoices, pay applications, and change order requests.
  • Lead virtual project meetings and site check-ins to track progress and resolve issues.
  • Manage subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, procurement timelines, and vendor coordination.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing contact, providing project updates, status reports, and escalation of risks or scope changes.

Requirements

  • 2 to 7 years of experience in construction project management or construction coordination.
  • Solid working knowledge of construction processes, trades, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency with construction or project management software such as Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend, or similar tools.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort leading virtual meetings and managing remote relationships.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Reliable home office setup with high-speed internet and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience across multiple project types, including commercial, residential, healthcare, or industrial construction, is preferred.
  • Experience with estimating or cost management software such as Sage or Bluebeam, or similar tools, is a nice to have.
