Description

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Global Payroll Implementation team, fostering trust, accountability, and high performance.
  • Oversee the delivery of global payroll implementation projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and compliance standards are met.
  • Provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and escalation support for complex implementation issues.
  • Monitor implementation progress against KPIs and SLAs, identify risks early, and drive corrective actions.
  • Support team leads and specialists with issue resolution, prioritization, and workload balancing across multiple projects.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs between Sales, Implementation, and Payroll Operations phases.
  • Standardize and continuously improve implementation processes, tools, documentation, and SOPs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, automation, and system integrations.
  • Lead or support user acceptance testing, process validations, and change management for platform or procedural updates.
  • Serve as a primary stakeholder contact and represent the implementation function in internal initiatives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing global or regional payroll implementations in a complex, high-growth environment.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, from onboarding through compliance handover.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and empower high-performing teams without micromanagement.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical or regulatory topics clearly.
  • Experience driving process improvement and working with payroll systems such as SAP, Workday, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Analytical, solutions-focused mindset with strong operational problem-solving ability.
  • Comfort working asynchronously in a distributed, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Prior remote work experience is not required but is considered an advantage.
  • Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.
