Description

  • Develop and own backend software infrastructure for the Stargate autonomous additive manufacturing platform.
  • Build user-facing applications, APIs, and CRUD services that expose data platform capabilities to end users.
  • Create backend services that integrate with data architectures and enable data consumption.
  • Develop frontend interfaces for data visualization, analytics, and platform management.
  • Deploy and maintain software in both edge and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with robotics software engineers to integrate software with the robotic operating system.
  • Work with robotics, data, ML, and infrastructure engineers to deliver clean, reliable, maintainable software.
  • Contribute to internal tooling that improves developer productivity and system observability.
  • Own projects end to end from design through deployment in a fast-moving R&D environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience developing and shipping production-quality software with real-world operational constraints.
  • Ability to independently identify, scope, design, and execute software projects.
  • Understanding of databases, pipelines, and platforms, and how to write software that interacts with them.
  • Experience designing in collaboration with non-software stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in the languages and tools you prefer, with willingness to learn new ones.
  • Experience developing software for robotics or additive manufacturing applications (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS) (preferred).
  • Prior experience in a small company or startup where you owned software end to end (preferred).
