Description

  • Lead sourcing and supplier management for major vehicle structures to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies, including supplier selection, long-term agreements, and capacity planning for Terran R build schedules.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain Planning, and Manufacturing Operations to align procurement with program milestones and design-for-manufacturability needs.
  • Drive supplier performance through risk management, contract negotiations, and milestone-based tracking.
  • Mentor and support GSMs and GSSs on aerospace manufacturing processes and supplier development.
  • Act as a thought leader for structural commodities by improving sourcing processes, supplier health, and program readiness.
  • Collaborate across stakeholders to design and scale new and existing supply chains for complex components.
  • Manage supply chain ownership across raw materials, capital equipment, and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of professional experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.
  • Experience managing suppliers for complex aerospace or advanced manufacturing commodities.
  • Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing milestone-based agreements.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as LN, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, including machining, forming, welding, and assembly.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering (preferred).
  • Direct experience managing aerospace structural commodities such as domes, barrels, interstages, or thrust structures (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and NADCAP standards, supplier qualifications, and audit processes (preferred).
  • Experience with NPD or NPI supply chain work, preferably in aerospace or frontier technology industries (preferred).
  • Proficiency in supplier risk assessment, cost modeling, and capacity planning (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of aerospace raw materials such as aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and Cu-Ni-Sn alloys, plus associated processing methods (preferred).
