Description

  • Operate aerospace composite manufacturing equipment, including curing ovens and ply cutting tables.
  • Handle composite pre-preg materials and adhesives in and out of cold storage.
  • Maintain material traceability and out-life documentation for composite materials.
  • Safely de-tool finished composite parts using critical lifting procedures.
  • Prepare lamination tools for subsequent runs using mold sealants and release agents.
  • Uphold safety standards and shop cleanliness across the manufacturing area.
  • Foster an inclusive environment for all team members.
  • Document manufacturing operations in the Manufacturing Execution System as needed.
  • Interpret cure chart data, including temperature and pressure readings, to confirm cycles are proceeding nominally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of composites manufacturing experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar industries.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with engineering and production teams.
  • Ability to use forklifts or cranes to perform critical lifts of flight hardware, raw material, or tooling/GSE.
  • Ability to interpret live cure chart data, including temperature and pressure readings.
  • Working experience with Manufacturing Execution System software for documenting manufacturing operations.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.
  • Experience partnering with manufacturing engineering and quality teams to build flight hardware preferred.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations at remote or downstream work sites preferred.
  • Availability to work 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00AM-3:30PM PT, with a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek and occasional overtime.
