Description

  • Develop, implement, and improve the quality management system in alignment with customer, regulatory, international standard, and industrial requirements.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to strengthen processes across the product lifecycle.
  • Own the document control system, including controlled documents, records, and change control processes.
  • Plan and lead internal audits to assess QMS performance and effectiveness.
  • Direct and support root cause investigations and corrective and preventive actions to improve the management system.
  • Provide training and guidance to cross-functional teams on quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor management system data and report findings to leadership to drive system improvement.
  • Help establish processes, controls, and inspections that scale with development, production, and operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related STEM field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality systems or quality engineering.
  • Experience with QMS platforms and digital applications, preferably in aerospace.
  • In-depth working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 requirements and principles.
  • Certified QMS lead auditor, with AS9100 certification preferred.
  • Strong skills in document control, process mapping, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience balancing quality system effectiveness with fast-paced development or production environments.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and other teams.
