Description

  • Set up CNC machinery, including multi-axis milling and mill-turn turning centers.
  • Operate CNC mills and lathes across multiple shifts to meet production schedules.
  • Select, monitor, and maintain tooling and fixturing to ensure conforming hardware leaves the shop.
  • Support the production of engine and vehicle hardware for testing prior to launch.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on design feedback and process improvements.
  • Apply a continuous-learning mindset to develop programming and machining skills.
  • Adapt to new capabilities and changing manufacturing demands as the team grows.
  • Contribute to safe, high-accountability manufacturing operations focused on cost, quality, and lead time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes in a production environment.
  • Experience working with manufacturing engineers in R&D or production settings.
  • Understanding of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience operating multi-axis CNC machines.
  • Experience programming CNC machines in ESPRIT is preferred.
  • DMG Mori/CELOS experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts as needed.
  • Interest in developing new skills in programming and machining.
