Description

  • Meet daily with subcontractors and crews to review production schedules, resources, and budget status.
  • Collect, coordinate, and analyze shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements, and project data to ensure compliance.
  • Provide technical input for project work plans and scheduling while identifying risks to production, materials, equipment, and process.
  • Track daily production, schedule, and budget performance and document project activities using company-approved methods and technologies.
  • Communicate significant schedule changes and recommend solutions to management.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement activities, and the schedule for assigned scopes.
  • Remit accurate project quantity input and cost coding, and coordinate financial details with finance and accounting teams.
  • Review and approve daily timecards for construction crews and resolve timecard inquiries as needed.
  • Support quality assurance by reviewing specifications, initiating inspections, and maintaining project documentation and permits.
  • Coordinate field layout, utility marking, subcontractor work methods, and job close-out with designers and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 5+ years of construction engineering, scheduling, or design experience required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of cost coding, cost savings, budget, and project financial implications required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of scheduling processes and industry best practices required.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and required standards applicable to the project.
  • Ability to assume responsibility and communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven self-starter with motivation to learn and grow knowledge.
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred.
  • Construction engineering experience or knowledge required.
  • Passion for sustainability and making the world a better place.
