Description

  • Provide detailed review of U.S. tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, and related compliance matters.
  • Prepare tax returns when needed, including forms such as 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041, 990, and 5500.
  • Handle tax projections, tax planning, tax notices, and general advisory services for clients.
  • Advise small business owners on tax compliance, recordkeeping, and related matters.
  • Manage workload, track deliverables independently, and identify additional advisory opportunities with existing clients.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and support client relationship management.
  • Oversee accounting and bookkeeping services delivered by staff to business owners, executives, and independent professionals.
  • Support the PH accounting team through training materials, process documentation, onboarding, and special projects.
  • Collaborate with U.S. and PH colleagues to improve team operations and share ideas and feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent designation is advantageous.
  • 5–10 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates.
  • Experience in fund accounting services or other accounting services with U.S. tax preparation is preferred.
  • Open to newly passed CPA candidates with a strong academic background and solid foundational accounting knowledge.
  • Experience with UltraTax and Onvio is preferred, or equivalent experience with CCH.
  • QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online expertise is required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools and general technology systems.
  • Strong communication skills for working with U.S. and PH colleagues.
  • Strong organizational, logic, reasoning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work hands-on, independently, and comfortably in ambiguous environments.
  • Interest in long-term career growth and stability rather than short-term job hopping.
