Description

  • Develop and execute media plans across channels including video, social, display, audio, email, print, and out-of-home.
  • Draft and issue RFPs, vet vendor proposals, lead vendor Q&A, and negotiate media placement and pricing.
  • Assist in developing client presentation materials and present recommendations to clients.
  • Create, send, and maintain vendor insertion orders and contracts.
  • Create and maintain creative spec sheets and coordinate with the creative agency as needed.
  • Code UTMs, upload campaigns, and traffic media buys.
  • Compile reporting data, perform QA, analyze results, and develop insights.
  • Optimize media placements by recommending strategic and tactical changes to improve campaign performance.
  • Manage media budgets, invoicing, billing reconciliation, and campaign setup in Mediaocean/Prisma.
  • Maintain publisher relationships, research competitive and media landscape trends, and train Assistant Media Planners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; marketing or advertising concentration preferred.
  • At least 1 year of digital media planning experience required.
  • Strong interest in advertising and the health and wellness industry.
  • Experience activating digital media campaigns, including trafficking, optimization, pacing, media planning, and billing.
  • Experience drafting and issuing RFPs, leading Q&A, and negotiating with vendors.
  • Experience with media and research tools such as Mediaocean/Prisma, Google Campaign Manager, comScore, Kantar, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Pharmaceutical or health/wellness experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and self-motivation.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, critical thinking, math, organization, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
