Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting migration to BigQuery.
  • Own data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and optimization workloads.
  • Deliver production-grade data products for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders on migration and platform sustainability.
  • Support long-term data platform reliability and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, including optimization and performance tuning.
  • Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines.
  • Experience processing structured and semi-structured data.
  • Data modeling and schema design skills.
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Composer.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with dbt.
  • Experience with data quality, validation, and monitoring.
  • Understanding of cloud-native data architectures.
  • Work from the European Union region with a valid work permit required.
  • Experience with migration projects from legacy platforms (preferred).
  • Infrastructure as Code knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience with APIs and external data ingestion (preferred).
  • Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management (preferred).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability frameworks (preferred).
