Description

  • Serve as a technical advisor in sales engagements to help prospects and customers understand platform capabilities and value.
  • Architect and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical tours that showcase platform features and ease of use.
  • Engage with prospects to identify solution requirements and develop contractual scope language for proposals and SOWs.
  • Support responses to RFPs and RFIs and prepare detailed technical input to ensure alignment with client needs and feasibility.
  • Lead technical discussions with enterprise clients, address objections, and guide them toward scalable solutions.
  • Identify integration solutions, document complex integration requirements, and maintain requirements documentation.
  • Create requirements documentation and lead smooth handoffs to implementation and services teams.
  • Maintain a library of best practices and standard configuration templates to streamline demonstrations and implementations.
  • Capture and synthesize client feedback to inform and influence the product roadmap and promote best practices in solution architecture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in software implementation, technical sales, or solution architecture (preferably in enterprise event management).
  • BA/BS in a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of the RainFocus platform or competitive event management software.
  • Proven experience scoping and designing complex solutions, including integrations.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment or other client-facing role.
  • Experience preparing detailed RFP and RFI responses.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to be remote-based in the United States with travel up to 25% for onsite client events and meetings.
