Description

  • Organize and oversee daily activities of splice technician crews to support efficient operations.
  • Provide cut sheets and location details to internal teams and contracted splice crews.
  • Track project production, work orders, and customer-required paperwork to document project progress and completion.
  • Read and follow design engineer instructions and specifications while maintaining project scope and safety procedures.
  • Monitor data and enclosure splicing activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and ensure proper reporting.
  • Maintain records of internal and external splicers, coordinate schedules and assignments, and ensure crews are adequately resourced.
  • Monitor contractor billing activities and maintain organized invoices and billing statements for reconciliation and reporting.
  • Track materials needed for splice crews and request additional supplies as needed.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external contractors to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and support project success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible for U.S. employment without sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Telecom experience is a plus.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Google Earth.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as teleconferencing applications.
  • Functional use of common office equipment, computers, and office software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
  • Ability to work primarily remotely from a home office 5 days per week.
  • Occasional travel to other Race offices or off-site locations may be required.
