Description

  • Lead Level 2 and Level 3 responses for complex, high-criticality security incidents.
  • Coordinate incident response with MSSPs, the 24/7 SOC, vendors, and internal business units.
  • Act as the technical point of contact across Legal, DPO, Communications, and cybersecurity teams during incidents.
  • Create, maintain, and improve incident response playbooks, procedures, and automation.
  • Lead forensic investigations, root-cause analysis, compromise scoping, post-mortems, and related documentation.
  • Develop and tune threat detection rules in SIEM and EDR platforms.
  • Manage the cyber threat intelligence lifecycle and convert findings into actionable SOC improvements.
  • Partner with Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors to optimize operational routines and contract value.
  • Make risk-based containment, eradication, and prioritization decisions under pressure.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in incident response, digital forensics, or threat hunting.
  • Strong Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) expertise across Windows, Linux, macOS, and network environments.
  • Proficiency with memory forensics and host-based forensics tools.
  • Ability to perform basic static and dynamic malware analysis and extract indicators of compromise.
  • Experience leading incident response in AWS and GCP cloud environments.
  • Proven experience with SOAR and building automation for incident response workflows.
  • Strong risk assessment and prioritization skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to make rapid, informed decisions during critical incidents.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, threat detection, and cyber threat intelligence practices.
