Description

  • Lead end-to-end design strategy for high-impact growth initiatives from opportunity discovery through refined solution delivery.
  • Define how growth principles shape QuillBot’s next-generation creative experience and identify strategic growth levers across the product suite.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional experimentation by framing hypotheses, designing testable concepts, defining success metrics, and applying learnings to future work.
  • Drive cross-product cohesion so growth surfaces and rapid experiments integrate consistently across QuillBot’s tools.
  • Evolve and extend the design system to support scalable growth experiments while preserving long-term system integrity.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative user insights to understand behavior, uncover friction points, and identify opportunities for user value.
  • Lead design critiques, mentor other designers, codify best practices, and raise the bar for quality, speed, and impact.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products.
  • Meaningful ownership of growth, experimentation, or funnel optimization in complex environments.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, exceptional craft, experimentation leadership, and measurable impact on product metrics.
  • Deep expertise in scaling and extending design systems without compromising brand or usability.
  • Strong interaction and visual design capabilities with the ability to influence user decisions and drive growth outcomes.
  • Advanced prototyping skills to validate ideas, communicate direction, and accelerate experimentation cycles.
  • Strong written communication and narrative skills to clearly present problem spaces, hypotheses, insights, and design rationale.
  • Experience shaping or designing AI-powered tools, with the ability to guide teams toward intuitive and trustworthy AI experiences.
  • Comfort working autonomously in ambiguous, metrics-driven environments and iterating on experiments that improve activation, retention, and conversion.
  • Preferred experience using AI in the design process, front-end engineering skills, or leadership in building growth pipelines or experimentation frameworks.
