Description

  • Frame complex infrastructure challenges and propose clear solutions.
  • Drive infrastructure projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure in collaboration with backend, data, security, and engineering efficiency teams.
  • Write Go services, tools, and APIs as part of the platform work.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks and reduce toil.
  • Own platform observability through logs, metrics, and tracing.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents.
  • Lead post-incident reviews and turn incidents into durable fixes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Contribute to architectural and technical decisions that improve delivery speed and reliability.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure in production.
  • Experience managing Kubernetes clusters at scale.
  • Solid Go experience, or equivalent programming experience.
  • Comfort building tools, services, and automation rather than only configuration.
  • Ability to understand the full system, including dependencies, trade-offs, and long-term impact.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach that anticipates issues rather than only reacting to them.
  • Willingness to actively use AI tools to work faster and solve infrastructure problems more efficiently.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including sharing knowledge and giving clear feedback.
  • Interest in modern practices such as GitOps, AI-assisted engineering, and challenging the technical status quo.
