Description

  • Own Android features end-to-end from discovery and technical design through implementation, rollout, and iteration.
  • Deliver product-critical experiences that help customers pay, get paid, and manage their finances.
  • Drive technical decisions in the squad by evaluating UX, performance, security, and time-to-market tradeoffs.
  • Improve app reliability, architecture, performance, and test strategy to support scale and stability.
  • Solve complex mobile challenges such as real-time synchronization, resilience patterns, and navigation in a large modular codebase.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Frontend teams to turn constraints into customer experiences.
  • Lead by example in code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Share patterns and mentor peers to raise Android engineering quality and delivery.
  • Work within a modern Android stack and contribute to ongoing refactoring and migration efforts.
  • Support engineering standards in a regulated fintech context.

Requirements

  • Strong native Android experience with production features shipped and maintained in Kotlin.
  • Experience owning technical decisions end-to-end.
  • Quality-focused mindset with emphasis on unit, UI, and snapshot testing.
  • Ability to write clean code and apply pragmatic engineering standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in ambiguity.
  • Daily use of AI coding tools to increase output.
  • Fluent English and ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to collaborate through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
  • Experience with modern Android development practices is preferred, including Kotlin Coroutines and Flow, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modular design.
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Firebase Test Lab, Sonar, and Fastlane is a plus.
