Partner with the commercial team throughout the sales process from discovery to final presentation.
Serve as the primary technical voice in pre-sales engagements with senior stakeholders.
Translate complex technical requirements into clear business outcomes for technical and non-technical audiences.
Architect and design high-level cloud solutions that support migration and modernisation.
Identify and address technical objections to help accelerate sales cycles.
Support proof-of-concept demonstrations and provide technical validation for deals.
Act as a liaison between pre-sales activity and internal Subject Matter Experts.
Collaborate with Qodea colleagues and Google to nurture existing customers and identify new opportunities.
Build trusted-advisor relationships with CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and Enterprise Architects.

Requirements

Experience in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or sales engineering support role within a software or cloud services environment.
Familiarity with a major public cloud platform.
Ideally experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including infrastructure, application modernisation, and data services.
A professional-level Google Cloud certification is a plus.
AWS experience will be considered for candidates willing to learn and become proficient in Google Cloud.
Ability to present technical concepts clearly and build strong relationships with technical leaders.
Understanding of the sales process and the ability to connect technical solutions with business value.
Eagerness to collaborate effectively with commercial colleagues.
Ability to understand customer needs, identify challenges, and contribute to solution development.
Willingness to work remotely with occasional travel to the Manchester or London office when required.
