Description

  • Write functional requirements and develop detailed technical designs from business requirements.
  • Code, test, maintain, support, and upgrade existing web applications.
  • Create JavaScript libraries of reusable components to improve UI consistency.
  • Collaborate with service developers to integrate server-side code.
  • Write well-documented code.
  • Maintain and organize internal style guides.
  • Apply UX best practices in web application development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery/AJAX, JSX, Webpack, PHP, NX, Zustand, ReactJS, and React Router.
  • Experience with UX/UI and responsive web design.
  • Experience working with XML and JSON data structures.
  • Understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility standards and behaviors.
  • Solid design and coding skills.
  • Required testing and debugging skills, including Jest.
  • Knowledge of revision control practices and procedures.
  • Understanding and use of source control repositories such as GIT and SVN.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Remote work is allowed, but the candidate must come to the Sarasota office once per quarter for up to one week.

Benefits

  • Remote work flexibility with quarterly on-site visits to the Sarasota office.
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity.
  • Salary range of $85,000 to $105,000.
