Description

Architect and evolve the self-onboarding platform for developers.
Build reproducible, idempotent development environments for local laptops, CI pipelines, and VMs.
Design, build, and ship CLI tools, IDE integrations, and debugging workflows that reduce manual developer work.
Transition fragmented tooling into a unified developer experience platform used across all product lines.
Partner with engineering teams to identify workflow bottlenecks and improve onboarding.
Reduce environment-related failures and shorten the time it takes new hires to become productive contributors.
Automate repetitive setup and tooling tasks so engineers can focus on core product development.
Drive adoption of internal developer tools and workflows across teams.

Requirements

Extensive software engineering experience with a strong focus on Python or Go.
Deep understanding of Linux, macOS, and Windows development environments.
Strong experience with Git-based workflows.
Hands-on experience building internal platforms, developer tools, or automated infrastructure.
Practical experience with containers, VM-based environments, and toolchain management.
Exceptional debugging skills and the ability to simplify complex workflows into scalable automated processes.
Ability to work cross-functionally and improve developer workflows with empathy for engineers.
Experience with VS Code or similar IDE integrations is a plus.
Background in platform engineering or developer experience is preferred.
