Description

  • Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver enhancements for externally facing web applications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business outcomes through technology and recommend solution approaches aligned with enterprise strategy.
  • Analyze complex business and system impacts of proposed changes and communicate trade-offs and recommendations.
  • Lead or contribute to multiple initiatives using Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery methods.
  • Document scope, requirements, dependencies, risks, and release or implementation plans.
  • Elicit and document requirements through workshops, interviews, prototyping, and process walkthroughs.
  • Write epics, features, and user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure shared understanding of requirements, designs, and expected outcomes.
  • Support testing efforts, including functional and regression testing, and help validate acceptance criteria.
  • Diagnose and manage complex production issues, then communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop user documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer content for new or enhanced functionality.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Experience supporting web-based applications, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience working on Agile teams, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of analysis and modeling techniques such as process flows, use cases, and diagrams.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing approaches.
  • Technical familiarity with SQL, HTML, XML, and JSON is a plus.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
