Description

  • Identify and solve product problems through discovery, definition, and design.
  • Shape the product at a strategic level by spotting gaps across the end-to-end experience.
  • Define, monitor, and improve the product experience for Prolific users.
  • Contribute to the design system and improve design processes for faster, more consistent experiences.
  • Explore multiple solution options and champion data-informed design and rapid prototyping.
  • Build a deep understanding of user motivations and behaviours through workshops, research, and feedback loops.
  • Create user flows, journeys, mental models, service maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Test and evaluate prototypes and experiments for usability, value, and feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, operations, customer-facing colleagues, and data scientists.
  • Communicate and advocate for design decisions clearly across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience designing with tools such as Figma.
  • Experience with information architecture and mapping complex systems and business processes.
  • Experience in interface design with a strong understanding of visual and interactive design in dynamic contexts.
  • Comfort with product analytics and A/B or multivariate testing.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work in both asynchronous and synchronous, rapidly changing environments.
  • Strong systems thinking and curiosity about user behaviour.
  • Practical experience applying product design principles.
  • Knowledge of B2B and enterprise customer needs and how to delight them (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the AI tooling landscape (preferred).
  • Knowledge of developer experience, APIs, and common developer tools (preferred).
  • Proven success in a scale-up environment (preferred).
  • Inclusive design and accessibility knowledge to AA standard (preferred).
