Description

  • Own automation and AI initiatives across the company and identify manual, repetitive, or slow workflows to eliminate.
  • Build AI agents and LLM workflows for tutor recruiting screening, parent FAQs, and internal knowledge Q&A.
  • Develop LLM pipelines that extract data from school district documents, IEPs, and contracts.
  • Automate the generation of district-ready impact reports, proposals, and outreach emails.
  • Create RAG systems over internal documents so the team can query company knowledge.
  • Connect the CRM, scheduling platform, Google Workspace, email, and communication tools through integrations.
  • Automate tutor onboarding, document collection, and compliance tracking.
  • Set up data syncing between systems to reduce copy-paste work.
  • Build alerting and monitoring workflows using Slack and email triggers.
  • Create lightweight internal tools such as Google Apps Script automations, Airtable automations, and simple dashboards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building automations, integrations, or AI-powered tools.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenAI and/or Anthropic APIs, including prompt engineering, function calling, structured outputs, and basic RAG.
  • Strong experience with Python or Node.js/TypeScript.
  • Expert-level experience with at least one automation platform such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.
  • Comfort with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and connecting SaaS tools.
  • Excellent written English and the ability to scope projects independently from a one-paragraph brief.
  • Reliable internet connection plus backup power or backup connectivity.
  • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Supabase pgvector, or Weaviate is preferred.
  • Experience with Google Apps Script or Airtable scripting is preferred.
  • Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI is preferred if you can also explain when not to use them.
  • Prior work with US companies or in EdTech/education is preferred.
