Description

  • Build MCP server tools that remove boilerplate from developer workflows.
  • Create a GitHub integration that uses AI to suggest and implement code changes automatically.
  • Develop new field types to improve Prismic’s content modeling and website architecture flexibility.
  • Reimagine content workflows by enabling branching inside Prismic for custom types and content.
  • Build and maintain robust backend systems with strong attention to developer experience.
  • Work across the stack when needed, including UI and tooling improvements that simplify workflows.
  • Participate in design reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing to support teammates.
  • Help evolve systems pragmatically while delivering incremental value.

Requirements

  • Experience building and maintaining robust backend systems.
  • Experience with SDKs, frameworks, or platforms where developer experience is a first-class concern.
  • Understanding of software modeling, including schemas, validation, and migrations.
  • Experience integrating AI into developer workflows, or strong interest in AI-assisted coding and GitHub bots.
  • Strong quality engineering mindset, including testing and observability.
  • Ability to design solutions from the developer’s perspective and reduce friction.
  • Pragmatic approach to re-architecting fundamentals while still shipping incremental value.
  • Willingness to contribute across the stack, especially backend-first work.
  • Experience with open-source developer tools or frameworks is a bonus.
  • Experience with AI tools that assist developers in coding is a bonus.
