Description

  • Own the identification and execution of crypto-specific growth initiatives that drive new client acquisition.
  • Scan the crypto landscape for unconventional, high-leverage acquisition opportunities and market shifts.
  • Design and test low-cost campaigns for crypto-native audiences, including referral mechanics, community activations, co-marketing, trading competitions, and airdrop-linked flows.
  • Prioritise growth opportunities using structured scoring frameworks such as ICE or RICE and present monthly opportunity pipelines to leadership.
  • Identify, approach, and manage strategic partnerships with crypto projects, DeFi protocols, NFT platforms, wallets, media, and adjacent fintech brands.
  • Negotiate co-marketing, co-branding, and distribution agreements that generate measurable acquisition at low CAC.
  • Build partnership playbooks and repeatable growth playbooks that regional and cross-functional teams can localise and scale.
  • Produce recurring crypto growth intelligence briefs and translate market signals into actionable priorities for internal stakeholders.
  • Brief and align Marketing, BD, Retention, Performance, and Regional teams with clear objectives, messaging, assets, and success metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional execution by building trust, resolving blockers, holding teams accountable, and escalating strategically when needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, growth hacking, or strategic partnerships with hands-on crypto or Web3 industry experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the crypto trading industry, including CEX and DEX exchanges, DeFi mechanics, tokenomics, on-chain behaviour, and the crypto community ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing low-budget, high-impact acquisition campaigns in crypto or fintech.
  • Ability to identify under-exploited growth opportunities in a fast-moving, cycle-driven crypto market.
  • Experience managing strategic partnerships end-to-end, including origination, negotiation, asset creation, and performance tracking.
  • Active participation in crypto communities such as Twitter/X, Telegram, Discord, or Farcaster.
  • Strong cross-functional influencing skills with experience driving results through teams you do not directly manage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce playbooks, briefs, and executive presentations.
  • Comfort working with analytics, defining metrics, reading dashboards, and drawing actionable conclusions independently.
  • Prior experience at a crypto exchange, with understanding of acquisition funnel dynamics, KYC friction, and exchange trading lifecycles (preferred).
  • Existing network of crypto-native contacts such as KOLs, protocol BD leads, crypto media editors, fund operators, or community leaders (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with on-chain analytics tools such as Dune Analytics, Nansen, or Glassnode (preferred).
  • Experience using token incentive schemes, airdrops, or trading competitions as acquisition mechanisms (preferred).
  • Understanding of KYC/AML funnel implications and conversion optimisation within regulatory constraints (preferred).
  • Multilingual or multi-market experience across MENA, SEA, EU, Turkey, or LatAm growth markets (preferred).
