Description

  • Communicate regularly with clients, onboarding teams, project managers, and internal stakeholders to provide updates and recommendations.
  • Perform environment discovery and assessments using diagnostic tools and document findings on security, performance, and overall health.
  • Support transitions to new managed services plans while minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Deploy and configure security and managed services tools, including EDR, SOC/SIEM, web and DNS protection, and Microsoft 365 security tools.
  • Install and manage backup, monitoring, Microsoft Defender, Azure AD, email security, RMM, and PSA/helpdesk solutions.
  • Create and update technical documentation such as workstation build checklists and employee onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Participate in handoff sessions to ensure service desk readiness and ongoing client support.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to resolve issues and ensure system compatibility.
  • Manage service and project tickets, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth IT transitions and secure environments.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in an MSP environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with RMM tools such as Datto and Kaseya, and PSA tools such as ConnectWise.
  • Hands-on experience deploying EDR, SIEM, MFA, MDM, antivirus, and access control solutions.
  • Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Defender email protection and email security tools such as Mimecast.
  • Experience with dark web monitoring tools, MFA solutions like Microsoft or Duo, web/DNS protection tools like Cisco Umbrella, or EDR solutions like SentinelOne is preferred.
