Description

  • Contact customers with overdue accounts to discuss outstanding balances and negotiate payment arrangements.
  • Resolve disputes and payment issues by coordinating with customers, internal teams, and external parties as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of customer interactions, notes, and payment commitments.
  • Analyze account data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve collections results.
  • Develop and implement collections strategies aligned with the company’s financial goals and objectives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align collections processes with other business functions.
  • Follow established standards, processes, documentation, and change management requirements.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior resources or appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Participate in team huddles, meetings, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching.
  • Provide timely responses, guidance, and support to clients and team members while maintaining clear communication.

Requirements

  • Experience or strong ability in empathy and customer service when handling financially distressed customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer outreach, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to analyze account data, identify trends, and develop problem-solving strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a large volume of accounts and deadlines.
  • Resilience, persistence, and professionalism when handling rejection or difficult interactions.
  • High attention to detail in documenting account activity and payment information.
  • Understanding of basic financial concepts, collections laws, regulations, and ethical practices.
  • Computer proficiency with collections software, CRM systems, and related tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adapt to different management styles, and stay proactive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work an Eastern Timezone night shift in the Philippines and maintain equipment ready for a 100% remote setup.
  • Background check required before the job offer stage.
