Description

  • Manage the accounts payable inbox and respond to vendor communications.
  • Process vendor invoices by ensuring they are properly approved and accurately coded.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor information.
  • Initiate weekly payment runs.
  • Investigate and resolve accounts payable discrepancies.
  • Communicate with vendors and other key parties by email and phone regarding invoices and payments.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Assist with the annual audit process.
  • Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency in the area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the IT industry or a similar environment.
  • Relevant prior experience in a similar accounts payable or finance role.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to self-manage and work accurately and efficiently.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
  • Must be equipment-ready with a laptop, headset, and other necessary tools for remote work.
