Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation point for the client.
  • Coordinate and oversee all functional services, including external vendors, against established timelines and budgets.
  • Manage study budgets, identify out-of-scope activities early, and drive the CO to completion and execution.
  • Collaborate with clinical operations and other functional teams to support study delivery and related activities.
  • Own the financial health of assigned studies, including profitability, billable hours, billing accuracy, and forecasting.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and proactive risk mitigation strategies for trial execution.
  • Oversee quality management activities, including eTMF inspection readiness and corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Establish tracking metrics to monitor trial and team progress toward project goals.
  • Prepare project status updates and report progress, KPIs, risks, and solutions to clients and senior management.
  • Lead internal and client meetings, set team expectations, and communicate protocol or study issues and deviations.
  • Ensure study-specific training is implemented and maintained for the duration of the project.
  • Support business development and marketing activities, including bid defense meetings and related travel.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews for functional team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies for the position.
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex and global trials.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service demeanor.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant Precision SOPs, with the ability to implement them.
  • Direct work experience in a global, cross-functional project management environment.
  • Good understanding of cross-functional management, project planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Proven strategic planning, negotiation, critical thinking, decision-making, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • In-depth experience in pharmaceutical and/or device research required.
  • Preferred experience with oncology and cell and/or gene therapy.

  • Salary range of $147,300 to $220,900 USD.
