Description

  • Serve as the primary client contact and escalation point for assigned studies.
  • Coordinate all functional services, including external vendors, to the established timeline and budget.
  • Manage study budgets, identify out-of-scope activities early, and support execution to completion.
  • Collaborate with clinical operations and other functional teams in study delivery and documentation review.
  • Oversee project financial health, including profitability, billable hours, billing accuracy, and forecasting.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, risk management, and mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain quality management activities, including eTMF inspection readiness and corrective/preventive action plans.
  • Track trial and team progress using metrics and provide status updates to clients and senior management.
  • Lead internal and client meetings, set team expectations, and communicate protocol or study issues and deviations.
  • Support business development, marketing activities, bid defenses, and other management-assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies for the role.
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex, global trials.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills in a team setting.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service-oriented demeanor.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant Precision SOPs, with the ability to implement them.
  • In-depth experience in pharmaceutical and/or device research; preferred experience in oncology and cell and/or gene therapy.
