Description

  • Lead full-service clinical projects in line with the study budget, scope of work, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison and participate in proposal activities and client presentations.
  • Manage all stages of the study lifecycle, including proposal strategy, development, costing, bid defense, and study closeout.
  • Coordinate and oversee cross-functional project teams across internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Provide total project management oversight for functional areas including data management, safety, clinical, medical monitoring, and biostatistics.
  • Prepare project status updates, performance metrics, deliverable tracking, and escalation reports for clients and management.
  • Review and prepare study documentation, including protocols, project plans, informed consents, site contracts, and budgets.
  • Liaise with sponsors and senior leadership, including C-level stakeholders, to support trial delivery and issue resolution.
  • Drive efficient trial execution and maintain accountability for project delivery across global or regional studies.

Requirements

  • Degree or similar life science qualification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of industry experience and at least 4 years of full-service project management experience in a clinical trial setting within a CRO.
  • Previous experience managing full-service/global project management responsibilities in the CRO industry is essential.
  • Experience managing oncology studies.
  • Working understanding of GCP/ICH guidelines and the clinical development process.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven computer skills with MS Office, MS Project, and PowerPoint, plus experience with CTMS, eTMF, EDC, and IXRS software.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with individuals and teams internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology and clinical trial activities related to clinical development plans.
