Description

  • Serve as the primary client contact and escalation point.
  • Coordinate internal functional teams and external vendors against project timelines and budgets.
  • Manage study budgets, profitability, billable hours, forecasting, billing, and change orders.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, tracking metrics, and proactive risk and change-management strategies.
  • Oversee project quality, eTMF inspection readiness, quality notifications, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with clinical operations and cross-functional teams to deliver studies and review documentation.
  • Lead internal and client meetings, establish team expectations, and provide project status and KPI updates.
  • Communicate protocol issues and deviations, implement corrective actions, and maintain client alignment.
  • Ensure study-specific training implementation and compliance throughout the project.
  • Support business development activities, including bid defenses, and provide team feedback and performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of clinical research experience and 4 years of direct project management experience, or demonstrated equivalent competencies.
  • Experience managing complex, global clinical trials in a cross-functional project management environment.
  • In-depth pharmaceutical and/or medical device research experience.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and applicable SOPs, with the ability to implement them.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, CTMS, and project management software.
  • Strong project planning, strategic planning, risk management, change management, and escalation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead study teams, foster accountability and ownership, and maintain high ethical standards.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays; oncology and cell/gene therapy experience preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employer sponsorship.
