Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation point for the client.
  • Coordinate all functional services and external vendors to meet established timelines and budgets.
  • Manage study budgets and identify out-of-scope activities early to keep projects controlled.
  • Drive change orders to completion and execution with appropriate support.
  • Collaborate with clinical operations and other functional teams on project delivery and study activities.
  • Manage the financial health of assigned studies, including profitability, billable hours, billing, and forecasting.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure quality management activities, including eTMF inspection readiness and CAPA or incident form implementation.
  • Track project and team progress using metrics and KPIs, and provide status updates to clients and senior management.
  • Lead internal and client meetings, set team expectations, and communicate study issues, deviations, and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies for the role.
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex, global trials.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team-based collaboration.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service-oriented demeanor.
  • Working knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant Precision SOPs.
  • In-depth experience in pharmaceutical and/or device research required; rheumatology and oncology experience preferred.
