Description

  • Lead the technical direction and mobile development strategy for patient-facing applications.
  • Prototype and ship features across mobile and web apps in partnership with product and design.
  • Help define product strategies that support patient onboarding, engagement, and retention.
  • Work directly with patients and collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to translate needs into features.
  • Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering standards across the team.
  • Establish architecture patterns, technical standards, and development practices for patient-facing products.
  • Investigate ways to personalize care experiences, encourage proactive engagement, and reduce unnecessary clinical intervention.

Requirements

  • Deep experience building and shipping consumer- or patient-facing mobile and/or web products.
  • Experience serving as a technical lead, setting architecture direction, and mentoring engineers.
  • Strong full-stack development capabilities and comfort working quickly in a startup environment.
  • Experience with Expo, React Native, React, TypeScript, Kotlin, and SQL.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with product and design teams.
  • Familiarity with LLM coding agents and AI-assisted development.
  • Experience with React Native or other cross-platform mobile frameworks preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, wellness, or other high-trust consumer domains preferred.
  • Experience with engagement, retention, or onboarding flows preferred.
  • Prior AI/ML or agent-based systems experience preferred.
