Description

Lead the technical direction and mobile development strategy for patient-facing applications.
Prototype and ship features across mobile and web apps in partnership with product and design.
Help define product strategies that support patient onboarding, engagement, and retention.
Work directly with patients and collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to translate needs into features.
Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering standards across the team.
Establish architecture patterns, technical standards, and development practices for patient-facing products.
Investigate ways to personalize care experiences, encourage proactive engagement, and reduce unnecessary clinical intervention.

Requirements

Deep experience building and shipping consumer- or patient-facing mobile and/or web products.
Experience serving as a technical lead, setting architecture direction, and mentoring engineers.
Strong full-stack development capabilities and comfort working quickly in a startup environment.
Experience with Expo, React Native, React, TypeScript, Kotlin, and SQL.
Ability to collaborate closely with product and design teams.
Familiarity with LLM coding agents and AI-assisted development.
Experience with React Native or other cross-platform mobile frameworks preferred.
Experience in healthcare, wellness, or other high-trust consumer domains preferred.
Experience with engagement, retention, or onboarding flows preferred.
Prior AI/ML or agent-based systems experience preferred.

Base salary range of $220,000–$260,000, plus equity participation.
