Description

Represent clients in Immigration Court, including Master Calendar and Individual Hearings, both virtually and in person.
Appear for affirmative asylum interviews before USCIS at least twice per week.
Prepare clients to testify and address procedural and factual issues before hearings and interviews.
Build rapport with clients so they feel safe, supported, and ready to share their stories.
Develop case strategy for hearings and interviews to maximize client outcomes.
Collaborate across legal teams to keep cases moving efficiently through established workflows.
Use AI tools and other technology to prepare effectively and stay organized across a high volume of appearances.
Travel to Immigration Courts and USCIS offices throughout the country as needed.
Exercise sound judgment and strategic thinking in strengthening legal arguments.

Requirements

Admission to a U.S. state bar in good standing.
Spanish-language fluency for effective client communication.
Experience with or readiness to handle asylum and related relief claims.
Experience representing clients in Immigration Court hearings and asylum interviews.
Strong courtroom and interview advocacy skills.
Strong technological proficiency and willingness to use AI tools and structured workflows.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work under pressure, manage competing deadlines, and maintain quality standards.
Residence within one hour’s drive of the nondetained Immigration Court(s) in Orlando, Dallas, or Houston.
