Description

  • Participate in daily QA and engineering standups to stay aligned on requirements, specifications, and release plans.
  • Build comprehensive test plans and design clear test cases for new features and deployments.
  • Execute manual test cases independently and manage test-plan progress to support on-time launches.
  • Perform regression and exploratory testing across environments, devices, and browsers.
  • Document testing progress and communicate status updates to engineering, product, customer success, and other stakeholders.
  • Log, track, retest, and help prioritize bugs in Jira and Zephyr.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, perform root cause analysis, and support bug resolution.
  • Work with QA, product, and engineering teams to identify tools or features that can improve testing quality and speed.
  • Contribute to the AI-supported QA automation initiative by identifying automation scenarios and supporting automated test creation and maintenance.
  • Help define and execute a structured bug-triage process, including determining which bugs must be fixed before deployment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance testing for web-based platforms, with a strong emphasis on manual testing.
  • Experience developing and executing manual test cases across devices and browsers.
  • Some exposure to QA automation or software development concepts, with interest in contributing to automation work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think through edge cases and customer usage scenarios.
  • Comfort with technical topics and ability to build a deep understanding of complex systems.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly on new topics and ask clarifying questions when needed.
  • Strong communication skills for sharing test findings and status updates with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, team-oriented approach with willingness to drive initiatives and support release goals, including staying late when needed.
  • Experience using Jira and Zephyr is beneficial.
  • Experience with TestSigma or similar automation tooling is beneficial.
