Description

  • Own the full product lifecycle for one or more RCM AI products from early development through general availability and growth.
  • Define and manage the product roadmap across billing, claims, collections, and pre-billing workflows.
  • Translate AI model outputs, confidence thresholds, and recommendation tradeoffs into product decisions and customer-facing features.
  • Define success metrics for AI products, including recommendation adoption, billing event capture, and revenue impact.
  • Partner with data science, engineering, and advanced technology teams to evaluate model performance and improve customer trust and adoption.
  • Gather customer needs through qualitative and quantitative research with billing managers, RCM directors, and facility operators.
  • Contribute to the multi-year RCM AI strategy by identifying the next sequence of AI advisors.
  • Prioritize product investments using data-driven analysis, business cases, and return-on-investment evaluation.
  • Collaborate with UX, engineering, technical writers, and other product managers using agile and design thinking practices.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Success to support launches, beta programs, and adoption.
  • Represent the product in industry, customer-facing, and partner-facing engagements as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software product management experience.
  • At least 2 years as the primary product owner of an AI or ML-powered product shipped to production customers.
  • Experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle management, or claims is required.
  • Working knowledge of RCM workflows, payer operations, or medical billing is required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing products through beta programs and into general availability.
  • Experience defining success metrics and feedback loops for AI products, including adoption, model performance, and trust signals.
  • Ability to translate between billing workflow needs and AI product requirements.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of agile practices and experience working with cross-functional teams including data science and ML engineering.
  • Experience managing SaaS products.
  • Experience with AI or ML-powered products in a production environment is preferred.
