Description

  • Own the roadmap and backlog for the coverage and authorization portfolio, prioritizing work by customer value and business impact.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by translating payer requirements, customer needs, and data into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Run continuous discovery with case managers, nurses, and authorization teams to deepen understanding of their workflows and challenges.
  • Partner with engineering, UX, and design to build and improve resident coverage and facility reimbursement workflows.
  • Evaluate product investment opportunities and incoming requests, and present clear recommendations to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Define, monitor, and use product health metrics and adoption data to guide future product decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and smarter logic to scale expert work across many facilities.
  • Work within the established PointClickCare EHR to extend product value with new capabilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to drive alignment and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of product management experience.
  • B2B product management experience with direct sales teams and enterprise customers.
  • Experience managing software products through the full development lifecycle.
  • Background in healthcare IT and skilled nursing or post-acute workflows.
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment across engineering, design, and business stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Comfort with technical concepts including APIs, integrations, and modern development practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience building or integrating AI- or ML-powered product features (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with skilled nursing or post-acute workflows such as coverage, authorizations, and managed care (preferred).
  • Track record of extending an established product with new capabilities and measurable value (preferred).
  • Bias toward product impact over process, with an outcomes-focused mindset (preferred).
