Description

  • Set the technical vision and reference architecture for agentic AI across applications, defining org-wide standards for reasoning loops, tool use/function calling, memory, safety, and interoperability.
  • Design, build, and govern reusable platform components including model broker & multi-model routing, orchestration services, evaluation harnesses, prompt/versioning stores, and telemetry.
  • Develop and refine advanced prompting strategies and evaluate LLM/GenAI model performance with offline/online methodologies tied to business outcomes.
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI use cases with clear business outcomes and measurable impact.
  • Drive cross-functional roadmaps and integration standards across OCIO and business teams, setting API/versioning contracts and optimizing model cost/performance.
  • Transition prototypes into secure, observable production solutions by creating playbooks, evaluation frameworks, and platform components to accelerate adoption.
  • Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on AI for enterprise applications, advising senior leadership, vendors, and business partners on best practices and emerging trends.
  • Coach, mentor, and raise the technical bar for engineers and vendors through peer reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, technical approvals, and ongoing guidance on AI maturity.
  • Ensure alignment of AI solutions with Responsible AI principles, security, and regulatory requirements, and lead governance for agent behavior and safety.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership shipping agentic AI at scale across multiple products and establishing organization-wide standards for reasoning loops, tool use/function calling, memory, safety, and interoperability.
  • Hands-on experience with Agentic AI tech stack, primarily Microsoft Foundry, AI Search, OpenAI, RAG, CoPilot Studio, and Anthropic (Claude Cowork and Claude Code).
  • Advanced Python and Java expertise in production systems, including testing, packaging, and performance profiling.
  • Deep experience extending agent frameworks such as Anthropic frameworks, LangChain, and Foundry.
  • RAG/agent data pipeline expertise including document preprocessing (OCR/NER), chunking strategies, embeddings, vector stores, data quality/versioning, and evaluation harnesses for quality, cost, and latency.
  • Model serving and cost/performance optimization experience, including model broker patterns, multi-model routing, and serving stacks.
  • Extensive experience enabling and maturing AI capabilities in a SaaS environment and implementing evaluation/monitoring tied to business KPIs.
  • Experience with vendor management and holding vendors to best practices and milestone deliverables.
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI, security, and regulatory compliance for production AI systems.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce Agentforce and Boomi Agentic AI platform capabilities (highly desired).
  • Ability to attend periodic in-person events (for remote roles) in Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City or reside within commutable distance for hybrid roles as required.
