Description

  • Lead initiatives to improve UI/UX consistency across the backoffice.
  • Establish and set up frontend guidelines to make the backoffice an accessible platform for engineers to contribute to.
  • Collaborate with Backoffice Platform, Quality Engineering, Demo Experience and cross-company teams to create and improve backoffice features that support users.
  • Analyze usage metrics and adoption to inform product and roadmap decisions.
  • Drive large-scale projects (e.g., permissioning overhaul, external partner access) to deliver impact in backoffice and operations.
  • Reduce technical debt, improve auditability, and facilitate technical contribution within the backoffice platform.
  • Mentor and guide more junior frontend developers and support knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Own and lead workstreams that ensure the backoffice is reliable, maintainable, and aligned with product needs.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of React, TypeScript, and working with design systems.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript, CSS, and Web APIs and component-based, declarative UIs.
  • Familiarity with CSS-in-JS (styled-components), linting/testing frameworks (Jest + RTL, Vitest), and data fetching tools (tRPC, SWR).
  • Experience with observability tools such as Grafana or similar.
  • Background in B2B SaaS or FinTech (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders and engineers across functions.
  • Good time management, prioritization skills, and a proactive, initiative-taking mindset.
  • Willingness to learn, teach others, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Ability to work in English (company language) and operate in autonomous, trusted teams.

  • Annual salary range — United Kingdom: £80,000 - £85,000; Spain/Portugal: €95,800 - €101,800.
