Description

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis for Sound and Music teams within Creative Arts.
  • Provide finance support to broader Creative Arts, Localisation, and Co-Development studio teams.
  • Partner with business leaders and budget owners to assess risks, opportunities, and trade-offs.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and presentation materials on financial performance and recommended actions.
  • Support cost optimisation efforts through better efficiency, planning discipline, and resource allocation.
  • Own cost allocation methodology, rate-setting, and related processes for team costs.
  • Build ad hoc financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses.
  • Drive standardisation, automation, and process improvements across finance workflows.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of two analysts and other finance professionals.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related finance functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced finance certifications are a plus.
  • People management or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in gaming, entertainment, technology, or subscription/live service business models preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Collaborative experience working across cross-functional and global teams.

  • Base pay range of $80,300–$120,500 CAD.
