Description

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers balancing operational needs with compliance requirements under formal risk management frameworks.
  • Author and update policies, plans, processes, procedures, plans of action and milestones, and related compliance artifacts for new and existing systems and environments.
  • Interview customer personnel, present findings, and provide educational materials on compliance requirements and practices.
  • Conduct security assessments, compliance audits, assessments, and gap analyses to identify improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop policies and procedures that support compliance adherence.
  • Support compliance work in CJIS and FedRAMP environments and CMMC-related projects.
  • Assist in developing and standardizing service offerings aligned with industry trends.
  • Work with internal SMEs, technical architects, sales teams, and customers to deliver assigned projects effectively.
  • Represent Planet Technologies’ values to customers and contribute to client strategy and service offerings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of compliance experience with standards such as CMMC, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, DoD RMF, CIS, HIPAA, CJIS, and FedRAMP.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field preferred.
  • Certification in at least 2 relevant areas, such as security, compliance, or project management; CCP and/or CCA preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft compliance capabilities within Azure and Office 365.
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance, cloud security and compliance, and Microsoft compliance tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Experience working effectively with Compliance SMEs, Technical Architects, Sales, and customers.
  • Ability to travel as needed and obtain and maintain a basic security clearance; US citizenship and clearable status required, with possible up to a 10-year background investigation.
