Description

  • Design and implement secure and scalable Exchange hybrid environments.
  • Lead Microsoft 365 migrations with heavy emphasis on email and tenant-to-tenant migrations.
  • Execute third-party email migrations from platforms such as Google Workspace, Zimbra, and other IMAP platforms.
  • Advise clients on identity architecture, including Entra ID, hybrid identity, and conditional access.
  • Develop and execute PowerShell scripts and Microsoft Graph API calls for automation and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot complex mail flow, hybrid configuration, and authentication issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders on architecture, documentation, and execution of projects.
  • Identify, scope, and refer opportunities for additional Planet Technologies services and offerings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Defender for Office 365, and hybrid configurations and migrations.
  • Expert-level experience with tenant-to-tenant migrations.
  • Deep understanding of identity services such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra Connect, and hybrid device join.
  • Strong experience with Quest On Demand, AvePoint Fly SaaS, and BitTitan migration tools.
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Graph API.
  • Familiarity with Defender for Office 365 and compliance/security settings.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; clear and confident communicator; proven ability to lead client-facing engagements; self-driven and organized.
  • US Citizenship (clearable) required and ability to undergo up to a 10-year background investigation for federal agency clearance.
  • Nice-to-have: Microsoft certifications (MS-203, SC-300 or similar); experience with NIST, CMMC, HIPAA compliance frameworks; experience with GCC High tenants; experience with Intune, Teams, SharePoint Online; experience migrating on-premises Active Directory; familiarity with identity governance and lifecycle management.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $120,000–$210,000 (final pay depends on experience, clearance, and other factors).
  • Full-time remote role for the Eastern US (Remote East Region).
